Unfortunately so much of the castle complex is under renovation. It is hard to navigate your way around as signage is sparse. I would advise getting a guide. St Stephen’s Hall is definitely worth a … Full review by Femida M

A lot of construction going on in and around castle but you can see the vision. Very nice views of city from castle. Very top of a hill so many steps up and down although funicular available. Full review by treetrippers

Is the castle accessible with a wheelchair? Is there a toilet for the handicapped, with a handle on both sides of the seat?

The streets & pavements are virtually all "cobbled". Why not ask your question straight to the Buda Castle staff using the link "Ask a question" on this page of Trip Advisor?

There is a bus that drops people off up on top close to the castle in the town of Buda. Also there is a funicular that goes up to the top of the hill. There is some wheel chair accessible areas in the village on top and there are elevators in many of the buildings. It is very lovely and one of the most beautiful places to visit in Budapest so worth trying.
