(Reuters) - Ten people have been hospitalized and one older person in Colorado has died after E. coli infections linked to consuming McDonald's quarter pounder hamburger, the US Centers for Disease Control said on Tuesday.

All of those who got sick reported eating at McDonald’s, and “most” said they had Quarter Pounder hamburgers, according to the CDC.

Health officials are investigating an E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounders in multiple states, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Tuesday.
