Leaders on both sides of the aisle in the Minnesota House reached an agreement on how to organize the legislative body on Wednesday. The details of the agreement, which is set to go into effect on Thursday, were not immediately clear. Political drama has ensued in the House as DFL members boycotted the legislative session since it began on Jan. 14.

The impasse in the Minnesota House appears to be over, with the DFL and GOP jointly announcing that they have reached a power-sharing agreement.

Minnesota Republican Chair Alex Plechash says the message is clear from Minnesotans – they want DFL lawmakers to show up for work or face recall elections. Republicans must collect 25 signatures in each district to request recall elections.
