The PlayStation store has accidentally revealed the PS5 release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater early.

The release date for arguably one of the most anticipated games around has emerged, albeit in low-key fashion. According to an apparent leak on the PlayStation Store — perhaps about as official as you can get without a splashy announcement elsewhere — Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is set to arrive on August 28.

When information is leaked by nefarious means, companies open a firehose of takedown notices to try to regain control. It’s always a bit disappointing that they don’t do the same when the leak’s coming from inside the house.
