(Reuters) -Ten people have been hospitalized and one older person in Colorado has died after E. coli infections linked to McDonald's quarter pounder hamburger, the US Centers for Disease Control said on Tuesday.

The CDC is investigating an E. coli outbreak that has sickened 49 people in 10 states, including one person who has died.
