Western Washington woke up Thursday morning to snow once more, extending this wintry weather into the weekend.

Washingtonians awoke to a fresh coat of snow Wednesday, creating traffic problems. Seattle schools went to remote learning, with a two-hour delay.

Combined with melting snow from earlier this week, refreezing overnight could create hazardous driving conditions for those heading out in the morning.

Chances for lowland snow remain in the forecast through the week with the best chances for accumulation Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Overnight lows will remain cold, dropping to the 20s.

Instead of a snow day Wednesday, Seattle Public Schools held classes online after a two-hour delay. Some parents are at odds with the district's decision.

School was still on for students in the state’s largest district. Seattle schools sent home computers with their students. And today they attended classes, remotely. It was a different story in Kent. Schools were closed here in Kent for a third consecutive day. And to be fair, they were closed just about everywhere, except in Seattle.
