Soaring high into the sky, paragliders are used to enjoying fascinating aerial views of some of the world’s most famous ancient landmarks. But the landmarks don’t usually have dogs hanging out on top of them.

A stray dog that was spotted on top of the 448-foot-tall (136-metre) Pyramid of Khafre in Giza has been trending on social media over the past few days. The impressive scene – which amassed millions of views – was captured by paraglider Marshall Mosher and his fellow paragliders while flying over Egypt's Great Pyramids at sunrise this week.
