DC unveiled the official Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League trailer for Warner Bros. Animation‘s upcoming anime superhero movie, which serves as a sequel to 2018’s Batman Ninja. It will be available on digital platforms sometime in 2025.

Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League is one of the latest projects that involves the Gotham vigilante. Fans were treated to a new visual that was revealed in a new post by the official X (formerly Twitter) account of Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League. The visual showed the designs of Joker and Harley Quinn, who are among the most famous DC villains.

Whereas Batman Ninja saw Bruce Wayne’s bat family and his rogues’ gallery transported into feudal-era Japan, Batman Ninja vs. Justice League sees the reverse. The ancient world of the Japanese crime syndicate is overrunning Gotham via a giant portal rift in the sky.

A wild new trailer for the upcoming Batman anime movie Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League is here, and it simply has to be seen to be believed. For one thing, the footage opens with the Yakuza literally raining down from the sky over Gotham – a phenomenon apparently called "a Yakuza-storm.
