Women taken to hospital dies after shooting on Fayetteville Street in Durham
A woman who was shot late Sunday night south of downtown died at the hospital, Durjam police said. The fatal shooting occurred around 11:48 p.m. in the 900 block of Fayetteville Street. Officers responding to a report of a gunshot wound found a woman who had been shot. She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
