Following the release of its financial results on Tuesday, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa answered a series of questions from investors. Among those questions was one about the future of software on the Switch after the Switch 2 arrives. You can read Furukawa’s answer below (as translated by Nintendo Everything ):

If we had to judge by the included diagrams, the trigger and bumper on each controller would act as the mouse click. Multiple included images show a hand with the thumb on the joystick. Multiple parts of the patent mention the use of the thumbstick, and we suspect it could act as the scroll wheel or serve some other scrolling function.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Nintendo is dropping Wario Land 4 on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on February 14. The weird Game Boy Advance platformer sees the gassy antihero turning into Zombie Wario and Bouncy Wario--just a couple of the transformations--as he explores a golden pyramid for the riches inside.
