At practice on Tuesday, Timberwolves coach Chris Finch showed his team how much worse they were in various statistical categories at home than they were on the road. The Wolves entered Wednesday’s game against a shorthanded Chicago team .

Anthony Edwards had 49 points Wednesday night as the Timberwolves beat the Bulls, just missing his third career 50-point game. Edwards told reporters after the game he won't be participating in the NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest.

Edwards scored more than 40 points for the second straight night, finding an energy boost from Houston's chippy, chirpy ways.
