Israel recently targeted branches of Al-Qard Al-Hassan (AQAH), a financial institution linked to the Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, with precision airstrikes.

After eliminating senior military leaders and weapons, Israel is hitting the group’s finances and role in serving Shiites.

Al-Qard al-Hassan is a Hezbollah unit that's used to pay operatives and help buy arms, a senior Israeli intelligence official said.

Israel takes the fight to Hezbollah's funding sources as the fighting in Lebanon and Gaza grinds on. The NCAA Football Playing Rules Committee is actively “engaged” in examining Oregon's controversial play for possible action.
