A new No. 1 team will sit atop the Associated Press Top 25 poll when the new rankings are announced Sunday. Georgia's impressive 30-15 victory over No. 1 Texas should pave the way for No. 2 Oregon to move up to the top spot.

That SEC upset followed another, as No. 7 Alabama fell as a slight road favorite to heated rival Tennessee, the No. 11 team in the country. The Crimson Tide have strung together three uninspiring weeks, including a pair of losses to the SEC’s programs from the Volunteer State, and could be set for a real tumble down the rankings.

Nothing shakes up the college football rankings like the No. 1 team in the country losing. And when the top-ranked team falls to another team high up in the rankings -- such as Texas falling to Georgia on Saturday night -- it's going to lead to all kinds of changes to the new AP Top 25 poll.
