The Netherlands will join next year's Eurovision despite the disqualification of this year's Dutch candidate and fan-favourite Joost Klein, who has declined an offer to take part in 2025, Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS said late on Wednesday.

The Netherlands will again participate in the Eurovision Song Contest next year, despite a scandal involving its candidate Joost Klein at this year's contest in Malmö in Sweden, Dutch public broadcaster AVROTOS announced on Wednesday.

The Netherlands will join the next Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland but the flamboyant singer and rapper Joost Klein, booted from this year’s competition after a backstage altercation, has declined to represent the Dutch.
