After sitting silent for more than three years, a City attraction that was shrouded in a cloud of uncertainty has reopened with additional safety precautions in place.

The Vessel at Hudson Yards reopened to the public yesterday, three years after closing following a series of tragic suicides, and we took a sunset climb to see how the viewing platform looks with its new steel mesh.

The Vessel in Hudson Yards reopened on Monday with floor-to-ceiling, cut-proof and water-resistant steel mesh barriers enclosing its stairways and platforms.
