St. Hope public schools in Sacramento are hosting a monthlong series of engaging events to celebrate Black History Month. St. Hope also has events planned at the 40 Acres complex in Oak Park throughout the month.

During Black History Month, there are plenty of ways to celebrate and get educated in the Steel City, from evocative films to fun museum tours. Starting Feb. 8 Join a Carnegie Museum of Natural History expert for a 30-minute tour exploring the history and contributions of members of the Black community to the field of science and nature.
