Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting that left one man dead and five hurt on Sunday, Oct. 20.

One man was killed and five others injured in a shooting on Greenwell Springs Road, Baton Rouge Police said. Two men were arrested at the scene.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - One person was killed in a shooting late Saturday night, October 19. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the shooting happened just before 9 p.m. on Snipe Street near Tern Street. The victim was identified by police as Ron Clark Jr., 28.

Police said Ron Clark Jr., 28, was shot in the 1500 block of Snipe Street around 9 p.m. and died from his injuries.

At least five people were injured in an early morning shooting on Greenwell Springs Road, an Emergency Medical Services spokesperson said Sunday. EMS responded to the shooting in the 9700 block of Greenwell Springs Road around 4 a.m. Sunday. Five people were taken to the hospital in an ambulance, the spokesperson said.
