This was McAvoy's 300th career point. It's the second milestone he's reached recently -- he skated in his 500th game Jan. 30 versus the Jets. He has two goals and a helper over three outings in February and looks to be past the upper-body injury that kept him out for a couple of weeks in January.

Charlie McAvoy got his 299th career point with a goal in the second period and Jeremy Swayman stopped 35 shots for his third shutout of the season as the Boston Bruins beat the Minnesota Wild 3-0 on Tuesday night.

If the Bruins are going to make the playoffs, they need David Pastrnak, Charlie McAvoy and Jeremy Swayman to lead the charge each game.
