Authorities in three states have made arrests in connection with individuals impersonating Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, as tensions rise amid a nationwide immigration crackdown.

A Temple University student was arrested and charged with impersonating a U.S. Immigration and Enforcement Unit (ICE) agent on the school’s campus. Aidan Steigelmann, 22, has been charged with impersonating a public servant, according to reports from 6ABC, CBS News and People.

Two current students and one former student at Temple University were identified by campus police after allegedly impersonating U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

The 22-year-old man has been placed on interim suspension following the incident, the Philadelphia university said.

Temple University police are investigating after two students were accused of impersonating ICE agents over the weekend.

Kelsey Grammer recently revealed to the New York Post the reason why he had a 30-year falling out with “Cheers” co-star Ted Danson.
