Deron Mayo, 36, has been with New England since 2018, serving as an assistant strength coach under Moses Cabrera until he was elevated into the head role last season. Before that he was playing the game as a linebacker, spending the summer of 2011 with the Broncos before heading to the CFL from 2012-17.

Former Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel is replacing former New England linebacker Jerod Mayo as head coach of the team. In his one year in the role, Mayo went 4-13 and the struggles were not just during games.

McAdoo served in the role of senior offensive assistant for the team under Jerod Mayo in 2024. He has previously worked for the Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars, among other teams. He is most known for being the head coach of the New York Giants from 2016-2017.
