A 16-year-old went to Nashville Police headquarters and told officers he shot at the victim during a drug transation, police said.

A FOX 17 News crew reports there's a scene on 40th Avenue North near Murphy Road, next to The Produce Place. Police tell us the victim was riding in a vehicle on Charlotte Pike near 46th Avenue North when another vehicle "pulled up next to them and began shooting."

Nashville Police believe the 18 and 20-year-old victims were shot during an apparent drug transaction, the department said.

Some of those who were being treated at area hospitals were suspected to have been involved in the shooting, police said.

A teenage boy is facing multiple charges, including homicide, following a Wednesday evening shooting in Madison that resulted in the death of another teen.
