The Golden State Warriors and forward Jonathan Kuminga aren't close in negotiations regarding a contract extension, according to ESPN's Shams

"I'm told both sides are still far apart in extension conversations between now and Monday," said Shams Charania on NBA Today about the Kuminga negotiations. "I think there's a belief that this could play out into the season and into restricted free agent.

The Warriors and Stephen Curry are relying on Jonathan Kuminga to emerge as a star player this season, and he could be set to balloon up the NBA ranks.
