Sep 18, 2024 · Our family is scheduled on a NCL Epic cruise in August 2025. I purposely booked this after seeing that the Epic was going to drydock the end of May through 1 June 2025. As of today, I’m seeing that cruises are now open on the Epic end of May. On cruise mapper is now showing that the Epic is going to dry dock in November 2025.

Nov 13, 2024 · More clearly, if it is showing out of service for only a couple of weeks it is not "on the cheap", but rather a standard 5-year mechanical dry dock where the key focus is engineering and technical maintenance with light repairs to carpeting, draperies, touch up paint, etc., as needed and time allows.

We booked “THIS” cruise to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our Son, Daughter and their spouses. This was a major expenditure ($6,000+) for two retired people that love cruising and wanted this Special Event on a nice cruise line.

Jan 28, 2025 · Prior to the cruise we had read some negative comments about air conditioning systems not working and about sewage smells in some areas of the ship. We found the air conditioning to be very effective and we were able to maintain a comfortable temperature of 71 deg F in our cabin, even during the hot and humid Panama Canal passage.

Jan 31, 2025 · Totally agree-Carnival's desserts used to be the best of the 3 mainstream cruise lines. Now they aren't even worth the calories- dry and tasteless. It baffles me why they try to upgrade the menus in one area, like Emeril selections and then downgrade them in most others.
